Greg Abbott, Managing Director. Grad Dip Management
Greg joined ASF in 1976 and completed his apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery in 1979.
From 1979 to 1986 Greg was in estimating and drafting and became the office manager supervising staff and reporting to the general manager.
He gained a certificate in industrial relations with CCI WA in 1987 and a graduate diploma in business management through the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of NSW in 1992.
Greg purchased shares in the family business in 1993 and became a Director. He was appointed managing director in 1997 and chairman of the board in 2002.
Greg has served on the Australian Shop and Office Fitting Industry Association committee from 1999 to 2012 and spent 3 years as the state president. He represented WA on the national council for a number of years.
Reg Abbott, Director
Reg joined ASF in 1979 and completed his apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery in 1982.
Reg was appointed purchasing officer in 1986 and commenced estimating in 1989.
In 1996 he took on the senior estimator and supervisor roles. Reg became involved in production planning and strategic development of the company and was appointed a company director in 2002.
In 2007 Reg completed his diploma in project management and currently heads the project management team.
